Let’s Do Lunch! focuses on the adaptations that help predators find and catch prey and that allow prey to protect themselves. Featuring songs by The Singing Zoologist, Lucas Miller: “Fifi the Ferocious,” “Anaconda La Bamba,” “I’m a Cheetah,” “I’m a Mako Shark,” and more.

Get your students excited about science with this high-energy, multimedia program uses music, storytelling, and vivid visuals to explore everything from cheetah speed to monarch migration. With catchy songs, clever science, and plenty of laughs, students will sing, move, and learn as they discover the wild and wonderful world of animals. 

About Lucas:
Lucas Miller, better known as the “Singing Zoologist,” is on a mission to turn kids into curious, science-loving explorers. Since earning his degree in zoology, he has inspired millions of children through a high-energy mix of music, storytelling, and dazzling multimedia. With zany humor, smart songwriting, and a deep love of animals, Lucas brings the wonders of nature to life. Whether he is singing about monarch migration, cheetah speed, or the magic of metamorphosis, his performances have made him a favorite at schools, theaters, museums, and festivals across the country.

  • Science: Life cycles, animal groups, animal migration, habitats, wildlife conservation, food chains/webs, ecosystems 
    • How Many Spots Has an Ocelot Got? endangered species, habitat preservation, conservation
    • Chimichanga Song: herbivores, carnivores, insectivores and omnivores. 
    • Mako Shark: food chain, producers vs. consumers, photosynthesis and energy flow
    • Fifi the Ferocious: animal defenses/adaptations
    • Right Beak to Reach it: adaptations for eating different foods
    • I'm a Cheetah: adaptations for moving in different ways
  • Themes: Growth and change, seasons, cycles in nature, appreciation of nature, science, and observation
  • Language Arts: Rhymes, lyrics, storytelling, songwriting

Performance Length: 60 minutes

Everyone, including infants and toddlers, must have a ticket for admission.
