Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ) has been serving the First Coast community for more than 50 years and continues to rank among the top colleges and universities in Florida. FSCJ is proud to be a part of your educational journey and help you start the path to your future.

FSCJ’s multiple locations throughout Duval County and Nassau County make it one of the best colleges in Florida for easy and convenient access. Locations are located near revitalized Downtown Jacksonville, beautiful Riverside-Avondale Historic District, on the bustling Southside of Jacksonville and in the center of Nassau County in Yulee. FSCJ also offer fully online degrees through FSCJ Online. With FSCJ you can earn your Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.S.) degree, an Associate in Science (A.S.), an Associate in Arts (A.A), a Technical Certificate (T.C.) or a Workforce Certificate (W.C.), in addition to our many continuing education classes for personal or professional development.

FSCJ’s students are talented, gifted, compassionate and unique. No two students are the same. Each of the 50,000+ students we serve annually has their own story and their own motivation behind advancing their education. FSCJ students have just completed high school, the first in their family to go to college, working adults, single mothers or fathers going back to school, career changers and active-duty military or veterans looking to earn their degree. They are just like you. FSCJ understand and value the individual needs of their students and work together to develop the right path for each person. FSCJ programs also attract international students from 154 countries around the world contributing to the rich diversity of the FSCJ collegiate experience.

FSCJ recruits and retains world-class faculty that transform the lives of the students they interact with on a daily basis. In the physical or online classroom, FSCJ faculty’s dedication to high-quality learning, academic excellence, innovative teaching methodologies and passion for the disciplines they teach inspire our students to achieve at the highest level and prepare them for distinctive success in their academic, career and personal goals. With more than 400 full-time faculty and nearly 800 adjunct (part-time) faculty, our students are sure to receive expert training with the most current curriculum and content material. Of these faculty members, 21 percent hold a doctoral degree, 55 percent hold a master’s degree and 24 percent hold a bachelor’s degree or other industry-related credential. Including faculty, FSCJ has more than 3,000 employees serving our students.

From applying to graduating, FSCJ staff and administrators are committed to helping our students not only get in, but get through. It is not just about getting you into a class, it's about watching you complete your education.
