The Times-Union Center for the Performing Arts is a center for professional and community artistry in downtown Jacksonville.  A cornerstone of downtown Jacksonville on Water Street area along the St. John’s River, this beautiful three-venue facility is committed to supporting a wide range of entertainment experiences at the highest level of professionalism. The Broadway house, the Moran Theater, holds 2800 seats, and is the largest of the three theaters in the Times-Union Center. Also within the Times-Union Center for the Performing Arts are both the Terry Theater and the Jacoby Hall.   The 600-seat Terry Theater is an intimate space with continental seating - wide horizontal aisles at every row.  This theater has been suitable for a variety of different shows including one-man comedy performances, concerts, plays, and musicals and gives the theater-goer a wonderful experience in a smaller setting.   Terry Seating Map

With a classic design and seating for 1800, Jacoby Symphony Hall is constructed in a “shoebox” shape, a design seen in classic European concert halls, as well as the country’s prominent halls, like Boston’s venerable Symphony Hall. The design keeps the sound alive by reflecting, sustaining and distributing symphonic tones to the audience in equal proportions.  The Artist Series uses the Jacoby Hall for special events, one-man comedy shows, and concerts.
